I'm not sure about the rest of the general population, but my mother had loads of 80s aerobic/exercise records and videos. One of the favorite records I remember doing with her (back as a kid excercise was FUN! Ha!) featured this song. See? I can love a song simply for the fact that it reminds me of a 1980's aerobic excercise record.

Sometimes it's literal.

I don't need to be in a mood or wax poetically about a subject with music. Sometimes it is literally pouring rain outside and I'll simply queue up a bunch of songs about rain. Like the song, 'Rain', by Bishop Allen.
